A lifetime disciple of
Macedonia New life Church, Chauncey F. Pridgeon
became an associate minister in January 2001.
His spiritual and Christian development began as
a youth at Manly Street Christian Church. Today
we are known as Macedonia New Life Church.
As a youth he participated in many activities of
the church. Among these activities were youth
ushers, choir, and Sunday school. His
relationship with God as a youngster and life’s
experiences had a profound affect and were
instrumental in his response to the call of God
in 1998. It is his belief that, “The call is
personal and one cannot explain it. One’s
response should be to answer the call and to
allow God to work it out." Presently, he |

pursues the Master’s of Divinity degree
at Shaw University, Raleigh, North Carolina As a native of
Raleigh, he received his primary and secondary education in
the Wake County school system.He holds the Bachelor’s of
Science degree in Political Science from North Carolina
Agriculture and Technical State University (NC A&T SU),
Greensboro, North Carolina and the Master’s of Public
Administration, North Carolina State University (NCSU),
Raleigh, North Carolina.
He is married to Pamela Joy Taylor Pridgeon and they are
parents of one daughter, Chaundra Joy. He has been employed
with United Airlines since 1974. It is his desire that we
who are created by God, through our relationship with him,
will realize our life’s purpose and that this purpose will
be manifested to each of us through his Holy Spirit.
